Nod
Nod is a found percussion/junk trio working in a improvised context. The trio is highly influenced by the early percussion works of John Cage and Lou Harrison, the AACM’s use of “little instruments”, the free improvising tradition and the indigenous music of west africa, indonesia, india, japan and south america. The trio was a working unit from february to november of 2001. The trios work is documented on the Castor & Pollux Music 4 CD retrospective, NOD - Three Freaks Lost In A Junkyard (C&PM007/8/9/10)
